Introduction:

Our wilderness area was the Glacier Bay area in Alaska. We wanted to emphasize the creatures of Glacier Bay, more specifically the whales. We also wanted to use a colder color palette which is why we use a lot of blue.

Critique: 

We received criticism on our logos with full whales on them because they looked a lot like clip-art which we did not want. We also received criticism on our stroke choice for some of the text.

In the end, we agreed upon the logo above because we felt it represented the Glacier Bay area the best. It focuses on a whale's tail poking out of the water. We thought the color palette gives off a cold and winter feeling with the whale representing the wildlife and focus on the aquatic aspect of Glacier Bay.
